Since emerging from the Toronto folk club scene in the early '60s, Gordon Lightfoot has recorded 19 albums, has had five Grammy nominations and has won 17 Juno Awards in his native Canada. He is best known for the hit songs "If You Could Read My Mind," "Sundown" and "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald," and his songs have been covered by some of the world's most successful recording artists including Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash.
